Stanley-Boyd High School is committed to having all students learn at a high level. We strive to accomplish this high level of learning by offering our students a challenging array of classes from AP calculus to college prep English, as well as a large variety of elective courses not often found in a high school of 300 students.
We take pride in our school as evidenced by our updated rooms, technology, and one-to-one computing. Stanley-Boyd also offers many sports, clubs, and organizations for our students to complete the educational setting.
Students of Stanley-Boyd High School receive a well-rounded education that prepares them to take on the challenges of life after school. We have created a modified block schedule that runs on a trimester schedule with class periods of 65 minutes in length. Our students take 5 classes during the day, plus all students have what we call resource at the end of the day and student seminar at lunch. Both resource and student seminar are a 30 minute period of time that allows students to get help from the teachers they have questions for from the day’s assignments. Getting this type of individual assistance gives our students an opportunity not found in many area schools.
