When severe weather strikes, we have three options to adjust our day.

Cancellation

All schools, Early Childhood / 4K, after school activities, and any public use of buildings are canceled for the day. The Pool & Fitness Center is closed.

Late Start

The school day will start later than normally scheduled. The specific delay will be announced but it is typically a one, or two hour delay. 

• Busses run behind their normal schedule.
• No breakfast is served.
• School lunch will be served at the normally scheduled time.
• Early Childhood and 4K is canceled for the full day.
• After school activities and public use of buildings may still occur.
• Pool & Fitness Center will operate under its normal schedule.

Early Release

Students are dismissed prior to the normal end of the school-day for all schools, Early Childhood and 4K programs.

• Busses run ahead of their normal schedule.
• Lunch is at or near the normally scheduled time.
• Afternoon Early Childhood and 4K is canceled.
• After school activities and public use of buildings are canceled.
• Pool & Fitness Center is closed.

We will communicate emergency or weather-related decisions through the SB app.
