Meet the District

The school district of Stanley-Boyd is a Pre-K-12 public school system which serves students in the City of Stanley, Village of Boyd, and the Townships of Butler, Colburn, Delmar, Edson, Taft, Thorp, Wilson and Worden. The 1,086 students served by the district attend one of four schools; The High, Middle and Elementary buildngs are located at 507 E. First Avenue, Stanley and the Early Learning Center is located at 303 E. Park Street in Boyd.   

  • Stanley-Boyd High School - 331 students
  • Stanley-Boyd Middle School - 252 students
  • Stanley-Boyd Elementary School - 436 students
  • Stanley-Boyd Early Learning Center - 67 students

The district is governed by a seven member, elected Board of Education and employs over 130 professional and support staff.

Stanley-Boyd Schools Mission and Vision

  1. To create a school where every student has access to relevant, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences every day to build a confidence for future academic and career success.
     
  2. To create a school where every faculty and staff member works interdependently and positively in a collaborative community to erase inequities in student learning
     
  3. To create a school where every administrator, faculty member, and staff member is fully engaged in and enjoys his or her work
     
  4. To create a school where the faculty collaborates with students, families, and the community to ensure that each student acquires the necessary knowledge, skills, and core values needed to achieve personal success and enrich the community they live in.
     
  5. To create a school culture where every student, parent, staff, and community member feels valued, respected, supported, and challenged in their interactions with one another on a daily basis.
